WAITING LIST
After Sept 9th, 2023 at 5:00 PM, registration will officially close. Wait list registration will be available on the website. If no wait list appears for your age group you can email John Hope at president@westendsteelers.com with the player's name, gender, and birthdate.
If there is space in the appropriate division, the players will be moved off the wait list and registered on a first come, first served basis.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment can be made by e-Transfer, Cash, Cheque, Visa or MasterCard.
Cheques - Payment must be received by the Registrar by November 15th, 2023. Please refer to new late payment policy below. Cheque is to be made out to West End Steelers. NSF cheques are subject to a $30 administration fee.
PAYMENT PRIVACY POLICY
All aspects of Goalline’s on-line registration uses 128-bit encryption, which is the same level of security used by most on-line banking applications. In addition, all credit card transactions are processed live and no credit card information is stored on our system. Please print the receipt that appears on your screen at the end of on-line registration as this is your official receipt for tax reporting purposes.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
West End Steelers encourages opportunities for all - regardless of financial situation and payment arrangements can be made with the Registrar.
Financial assistance is available via (among others)
HRM Kids (http://www.halifax.ca/rec/JumpstartRecKids.php)
Kidsport (http://www.kidsportcanada.ca/nova-scotia/)
Those applying for financial assistance must notify the Registrar of their application. Information on players who applied for financial assistance will be kept strictly confidential.
REFUNDS
All refunds will be processed after deducting an administration fee. This fee compensates for transactions costs and time spent in the gym.
Up to and including November 15th: Admin fee of $25.
November 16th to December 15th: Admin fee of $50.
After December 15 refunds will not be permitted. In extenuating circumstances (e.g. injury), a partial refund may be provided subject to a decision by the Steelers Executive.
PRACTICE DAY & TIME
All teams will practice on week nights. The particular night will be determined following evaluation sessions.
